Egan Bernal and Ethan Hayter feature in INEOS Grenadiers Tour de Romandie lineup

With the Tour de Romandie beginning later today, the INEOS Grenadiers have revealed their seven-man lineup for the race including riders such as Egan Bernal and Ethan Hayter.

Four-time previous winners of the race, most recently in 2021 through Geraint Thomas, INEOS Grenadiers take to the start line this year without a genuine contender for the overall victory. Although Bernal will have the jersey of team leader, the Colombian is still on the road to recovery after a rough couple of years, with his main target surely being to just accumulate more racing kilometres in his legs.

Instead, the likes of Ethan Hayter and Elia Viviani are more likely to be INEOS Grenadiers big chances of success at the Tour de Romandie through stage wins. Also involved will be the experienced Jonathan Castroviejo, Giro d'Italia stage winner Jhonatan Narváez, Colombian Brandon Rivera and the 39-year-old Cameron Wurf.
