Cees Bol "working on plan B" after B&B Hotels-KTM collapse puts him back to square one

After the chaos surrounding B&B Hotels - KTM came to an unceremonious end, many riders were left without a ride with time running out. One of those is Cees Bol, "I should have been on training camp with the new team by now. I hope there is a team that will want to work with me soon."

The 2019 Nokere Koerse winner, who had ridden for Team DSM for the past few years was expected to sign a deal with B&B Hotels for the 2023 season. He along with other notable riders such as Mark Cavendish have now been left in limbo. "The certainty arrived last week, but it was not positive. My manager is looking for an alternative. We are working on plan B"

27 years old now, time is on the Dutchman's side, however such uncertainty is good for no one. “I thought I'd be sure of a team this summer," Bol told Cycling Online. "Everything should be fine, but I can't say anything yet."
