Caleb Ewan leads Lotto Dstny at Classic Brugge-De Panne in search of first big win of the year

Lotto Dstny has revealed the roster for the upcoming Classic Brugge-De Panne race scheduled for Wednesday, with Caleb Ewan being the main rider for the squad.

Since the Schwalbe Classic, the Australian cyclist has been facing difficulties in achieving victories. Although he missed out on winning the Grote Prijs Jean in a close finish, he will have the chance to prove himself in an upcoming race in Belgium. He also recently completed the Milano-Sanremo race in 16th place.

Sports director Nikolas Maes has expressed confidence in Caleb Ewan's ability to perform well and reach the podium, stating that he is currently in good form. “With our top sprinter Caleb Ewan at the start, the first goal is to support him as best as possible towards the final. Even though they are two completely different races, Caleb has shown in Milan-Sanremo, That he has a good level of form.”

To aid Ewan, Jasper De Buyst, Cedric Beullens, Jarrad Drizners, Frederik Frison, Jacopo Guarnieri, and Michael Schwarzmann will be part of the support team. “We have selected a team of hard riders with whom we can certainly hold our own. We are extremely motivated to show ourselves again and aim for a good performance in the Classic Brugge-De Panne,” concluded Maes.
