BORA - hansgrohe will ride Classic Brugge-De Panne with all of their main sprinters. As the race is set to face strong winds, they hope at least one of their three sprinters is able to survive and fight for the win.
Sam Bennett has struggled this season and hasn't yet returned to his best form. It won't be an easy day to survive. Jordi Meeus is on the same step, but on paper in a bunch sprint both would be in contention for the Belgian classic. This can lead to leadership issues, but the presence of Danny van Poppel brings yet another option. With tons of sprinters at the start, BORA could benefit from the chaos if it happens as expected on De Moeren.
The German team see the return of Max Schachmann who was forced to miss Milano-Sanremo with illness and is preparing for the spring classics. Shane Archbold, Jonas Koch and Ryan Mullen complete a very powerful and experienced lineup.
