Preview. Soudal - Quick-Step have taken over the race lead of the
Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali on the opening day as Rémi Cavagna soared to a solo win, and into stage 2 the overall classification fight will already fully open open.
Stage 2 has a flat start and then sees a five-lap circuit around Longiano to decide the stage. It's a tough circuit with no flat roads, featuring two completely different ascents (one is 5.3Km at 4.3%, the other 1.8 at 7.8%) before a descent to the finale which takes place in a hilltop. The only uphill finish of the race, it features gradients of 10.5% for 900 meters.
