Biniam Girmay, Jasper Philipsen or Mathieu van der Poel will all make appearance at the post-Tour criteriums in Belgium next week

The Tour will soon come to a wrap and so it is almost time for the post-Tour criteriums. Remco Evenepoel and Wout van Aert, just like many other riders, are skipping them all because of the Olympic Games. But for example Mathieu van der Poel will make at least one appearance. Green jersey Biniam Girmay and his sprinter counterparts Jasper Philipsen and Arnaud De Lie are also among those who accepted invitation. HLN brings an overview:

Monday July 22: Aalst (Jasper Philipsen, Biniam Girmay, Arnaud De Lie and Oliver Naesen)
The day after the end of the Tour, the first post-Tour criterium is already on the program, traditionally in Aalst. The organization has again managed to attract some nice names. The sprinter stars of this year's Tour Jasper Philipsen and Biniam Girmay will both make an appearance. Additionally, the Belgian champion Arnaud De Lie, or Oliver Naesen will be there too.

Tuesday 23 July: Roeselare (Mathieu van der Poel, Biniam Girmay, Yves Lampaert, Gerben Thijssen and Jonas Rickaert)
Unlike Evenepoel and Van Aert, Mathieu van der Poel has found a gap in his schedule on Tuesday. The world champion will start in Roeselare, accompanied by Biniam Girmay and Yves Lampaert, among others.

Thursday July 25: Herentals (Biniam Girmay, Steff Cras and Arnaud De Lie)
In his home port of Herentals, they will also have to do without Wout van Aert. But the Green jersey Biniam Girmay will take his place as the main crowd-drawer. In addition GC rider Steff Cras and Arnaud De Lie will be present on Thursday.
