Aude Biannic extends contract with Movistar Team

Aude Biannic will continue to ride for the Movistar women's team in 2023 and 2024. The 31-year-old Frenchwoman has extended her contract for two more seasons. It was announced by the Movistar team in a press conference.

Biannic is one of the strongholds of the team, as she has been there from the very beginning of the women's team in 2018. The rider is currently in her fifth season for the Spanish telecom brigade. Biannic often races in service of leading women like Annemiek van Vleuten and Emma Norsgaard, and is occasionally allowed to go her own way.

"I am very happy with my contract extension because the team really feels like a family. We push each other to a higher level and that is very motivating," she said in an announcement. "I'm very excited about the coming months, with the Giro Donne and the first-ever Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift. We are going for victory in both races."
