Marianne Vos will compete in both the
Giro d'Italia Donne and the
Tour de France Femmes. Vos had previously committed to riding in the first Tour de France Femmes at the end of July, but
Jumbo-Visma has confirmed that the 35-year-old will also compete in the Italian race.
The Giro d'Italia Donne starts at the end of this month, starting in Sardinia on June 30 and ending in Padova on June 10, only 14 days before the Tour de France Femmes. Vos will compete in both races this summer. She will also compete in the Dutch national road race championships the weekend before the start of the Giro d'Italia Donne.
Vos has only ridden once since her positive COVID-19 test, at the one-day Veenendaal-Veenendaal, where she finished sixth after riding in a group that crossed the line 42 seconds after breakaway winner Gladys Verhulst. Vos is presently training with some of her Jumbo-Visma teammates in Sierra Nevada.
