Alexander Kristoff's "goal is to get 100 professional victories before I stop"

Alexander Kristoff concluded the season with a total of five victories. The Norwegian rider wants to continue his performance with his new team Uno-X in the next season.

"My goal is to get 100 professional victories before I stop," he told TV2 Norge. With 86 professional victories so far, Kristoff still has 14 victories to add to his record. It is worth noting that he is under contract for the next three years with Uno-X. "One hundred is a nice number, which, moreover, is not that far away. I think I will win about five races a year. This year I won five, so if I can do it for three more years, I won't be far off," said Kristoff.

Kristoff's last victory at WorldTour level was in 2020 when he secured victory in the first stage of the Tour de France. Team manager Gabriel Rasch thinks it is possible to bring his old self back again. "At Intermarché, he rode insanely many races, so I think it is possible to support him better during the most important races. Then he will be better when it really matters,” Rasch concluded.
