Groupama - FDJ have taken the win in the French time-trial national championships, but won't be showing the equipment at the Tour de France as Bruno Armirail was surprisingly not selected. The Frenchman has proved his current form, taking a surprising win today and grabbing the title.
The 44-kilometer route in Cholet was challenging, and Armirail thrived in it. The 28-year old took the win over Rémi Cavagna and Benjamin Thomas who were the pre-race favourites, in what is his first win as an Elite.
