7-time Grand Tour winner Chris Froome set to make Arctic Race of Norway debut

Whilst Chris Froome is quite clearly no longer competing at the very highest level, the 39-year-old Brit remains one of the biggest names in the peloton and one of the star attractions wherever he turns up to race.

Over the course of his legendary career the seven time Grand Tour winner has done a lot. One thing Froome have never done before though, is compete at the Arctic Race of Norway. In a few days however, that will all change as between August 4th and August 7th, the Israel - Premier Tech star will travel to Scandinavia to make his debut at one of the most unique races on the calendar.

"The legend Chris Froome will take part in the #ArcticRace for the first time," announces the official social media pages of the four-stage race. "4x Tour de France GC, 2x La Vuelta GC, 46 pro wins, 3x Criterium du Dauphiné, Welcome Froomy!"
