Marcel Meisen is a veteran when it comes to participating in cyclocross world championships. He now has 18 participations - including the start in Tabor - which no other rider can boast.
Meisen will also be competing in Tabor and will start again in the men's elite race. The German champion is confident of a good result ahead of the World Championships: "My legs are good. Tabor is a relatively difficult course, but maybe I can do something," he told rad-net. "It will be a fast race and I hope that I can ride in a good group."
After his bad luck at the last World Cup in Hoogerheide, where Marcel Meisen was forced to change his bike due to a puncture after his chain had also come off, he will have to start from the fourth row. Nevertheless, a top 10 finish would be possible with a little more luck and the form he has shown on times this winter. He will have to contest with very strong competition, but not the likes of Wout van Aert and Tom Pidcock.
