Michael Vanthourenhout victorious at Exact Cross Zonnebeke as Vermeersch and Merlier complete podium

After Marion Norbert-Riberolle took victory in the women's cross, Michael Vanthourenhout has triumphed in the men's edition of Exact Cross Zonnebeke.

There was no intention for European Champion, Michael Vanthourenhout to save his legs for tomorrow's UCI World Cup showdown in Benidorm as the Belgian powered to victory at Exact Cross Zonnebeke ahead of two dual-discipline stars, Gianni Vermeersch and Tim Merlier.
