Laurens Sweeck emerged victorious in the Cyclocross Otegem, earning his fifth win of the season.
Joran Wyseure had an excellent beginning, with Laurens Sweeck close behind. Eli Iserbyt and Tim Merlier were trailing the leading pair. Michael Vanthourenhout, the Belgian CX champion, was further back in 12th position, attempting to catch up to the front runners.
At the beginning of the second lap, Michael Vanthourenhout caught up with the front runners. However, his teammate Eli Iserbyt was still 8 seconds behind. In the next lap, Laurens Sweeck increased his pace and attempted to distance himself from the group. Gerben Kuypers continued to follow him closely.
Laurens Sweeck crossed the finish line ahead of his competitors and secured the victory. Joran Wyseure finished second. Gerben Kuypers took the bronze.
