Felipe Orts did not have his best race in the Zonhoven World Cup. The rider from Alicante had a bad start and, although he climbed up positions running at a very good pace, he could not go beyond the 19th position in a race that, of course, ended up being won by Mathieu van der Poel.
Not finishing at the top did not prevent Orts from enjoying, and a lot, one of the mythical circuits of the world cyclocross, especially in the brutal descent of 'De Kuil', the sand bowl with a tremendous slope surrounded by spectators.
