Tiesj Benoot tests positive for Covid-19 - Team Visma | Lease a Bike on alert at training camp

Team Visma | Lease a Bike begin a training camp in Spain this week which should include the likes of Wout van Aert, Jonas Vingegaard and Cian Uijtdebroeks. However, all riders will be on alert as Tiesj Benoot has tested positive for Covid-19.

Recently in the women's team, Marianne Vos also experienced the illness which continues to create tension in the peloton. Benoot himself will be missing out on, at least, a few days of important training with the team ahead of the season. In an Instagram story he showed to be in good spirits however, sharing a picture with an outdoor deck and pool with the caption "perfect spot to recover from Covid".
