The cyclocross national championships in the USA took place this Sunday in Louisville and crowned Eric Brunner and Clara Honsinger. They will be carrying the nation's colours throughout the next 12 months.
On the same day as the Val di Sole World Cup, most American riders set off for a key day of the season. Eric Brunner was the winner of the men's race beating Andrew Strohmeyer and Scott Funston; whilst in the women's race Clara Honsinger took a strong and more convincing victory with almost half a minute advantage to Katie Clouse, Raylyn Nuss completed the podium.
