"Didn't drive 13 hours just to do a bike race" - Puck Pieterse goes snowboarding after finishing third in Val di Sole World Cup

After finishing third in the latest round of UCI World Cup action in Val di Sole, 21-year-old cyclocross sensation Puck Pieterse made sure that no time in the Italian snow would be wasted.

As seen in the Fenix-Deceuninck rider's official Instagram story, Pieterse quickly switched her attention from cyclocross to snowboarding in the mountains. "Didn't drive 13 hours just to do a bike race," Pieterse captions her story, referencing her intent to make the most of the snow in Trentino.

As mentioned, Pieterse finished third on Sunday as Manon Bakker took her first UCI World Cup win ahead of Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado. This in turn means, Pieterse is still waiting for her first win since returning to the field although she has podiumed in all five of her races this campaign.
