VIDEO: Incredible video gives colour to Tour de Frances of yesteryear

The modern Tour de France is one of the biggest events in the world of sport. With 2024 being the 111th edition however, the race has changed completely from yesteryear.
Now though, "Le Tour de France, une passion française," by Jean-Louis Perez brings colour to some videos of back in the day. Thanks to these incredible images, some of the past editions of cycling's most iconic race can now bee seen in a whole new light.
The video bares little resemblance to the powerhouse we see on our TV screens every summer nowadays and really shows how far the sport has come.
