While Visma | Lease a Bike are still recovering from their spring wounds, UAE Team Emirates are on a move, winning races left, right and center. Today Isaac del Toro and Brandon McNulty already added numbers 26 and 27 to team's season tally. Cyclism'Actu's Marc Fayet sees that the team based in United Arab Emirates could potentially break the already impressive 57 triumphs from 2023.

"Assuming that a cycling year begins in January and ends in November, we find ourselves almost halfway through victories without being halfway through the calendar. This suggests, if the pace remains the same, that they could surpass what already seemed unsurpassable."

So how do they do it? "First of all, the squad of 30 riders from 18 countries, which makes them a leader in this field and gives an idea of their capacity to search for gems across all continents." Another advantage of this diversity will be countless opportunities to score at multiple National Championships in June.

"Another advantage is the proportion of experienced riders who are still in the team, a valuable commodity for spreading their knowledge to younger riders. The three 'road captains' are Diego Ulissi, Rafal Majka and Vegard Stake Laegen," he points out the importance of riders 'who have seen it all'.
