Uno-X Mobility made their Grand Tour debut at the 2023 Tour de France and it's fair to say, they performed admirably, despite not managing to take a stage win. Will they return to try again in 2024?
"As of today, we have no information about this year's edition. We have no indication from ASO as to when they will announce their wildcards," Magne Haugland, marketing manager at Uno-X, tells Discovery. "Last year we found out very shortly before it became public, and if we should be lucky enough to be invited again, we won't know until right up to the announcement."
Having added big name riders like Magnus Cort Nielsen and Andreas Leknessund over the transfer window, Uno-X Mobility are arguably better placed to take a Tour de France stage win this year. That return is still far from certain however, much to the chagrin of Haugland. "We believe we deserve an invitation based on the performance and results from last year, as well as the development we have shown over a long period of time," he concludes.
