Pro cyclists have an incredibly tough job throughout almost 12 months but the winter allows for some more freedom and fun when it comes to training and elsewhere.
Ben Swift has taken the opportunity to do some unusual riding, underwater.
In a video shared on social media, the
INEOS Grenadiers rider rides into a flooded field, much to the delight of his training mates. The 36-year old takes on his 16th season as a pro rider and 14th with the British team. His experience remains very valuable for INEOS and he continues to have a contract until 2025 at the time being, having taken on 64 race days and being a key part of the team at the Giro d'Italia this season.
