This Monday Movistar+ will premiere in Spain a new installment of the documentary 'El día menos pensado' which, as every year, will show everything that happened during the season (in this case 2022) with Movistar Team.
It is a very special year for the Navarre squad, as it is the last year of Alejandro Valverde. In one of the promotional videos of the series we can see the Spaniard in a team car telling that he deprived himself of many things during his sports career, but never of his 2 beers.
"I have deprived myself of many whims but I have not deprived myself of beer. It's 2 beers a day, I took it off once, but I saw that my performance was the same, I didn't lose any more weight, so I said to myself, why am I going to take it off if I'm not doing badly, I'll keep it", says the short snippet of the documentary.
