Video: Egan Bernal training in Colombia, preparing for Tour de France

Egan Bernal has had a very difficult year in 2022 with the serious injury that almost knocked him out of professional cycling. However, he has recovered at the speed of light and, after contesting a few races as filming at the end of the season, he is already preparing for 2023 in his native Colombia.

Thus, in a video published by our colleagues at ESPN, we have been able to see the young talent from INEOS Granadiers climbing a very hard climb at a brutal pace. It seems that little by little, accumulating training in his legs, he is recovering sensations and watts. He wants to fight for a Grand Tour again in 2023. Let no one rule it out...

Recently the Colombian said that he would be returning to his training routine of making his 'apocalyptic' rides which usually consistent of around 7 hours at moderate pace. He's also hinted at a return to the Tour de France, the race he is clearly gearing up to in 2023.
