UltimateOpportunist you clearly don't know much about cycling. Why do you think Mancebo only races for a minor team in poor quality races in weird places? Drugs ban anyone?24-01-2025 18:41

Rob Hatch on Eurosport has just said following an interview with Tiberi that he was "shooting from the hip". Presumably that's what Tiberi was doing when he killed the kitten....25-05-2024 14:00

So, the Tour has survived 108 editions despite France having no decent mountains in the middle? Ludicrous. And some editions spend limited time in the South? Since when? – It revolves around Pau… The MTT up Alpe d’Huez in 2004 was a disaster not a spectacle which is why it hasn’t been repeated since. The fans where unmanageable and out of control. I have stood on the top - on a mountain top finish you want to see riders racing – against one another, waiting to see who will come round the last hairpin first – not riders in single file. I get the impression you would like to see 21 days of MTT’s – that would be a bit boring rather than spectacular. Besides, I thought the idea was to eradicate doping in the peloton by reducing the physical demands not increasing them. Transition stages must happen, they don’t detract from the race, the unexpected often happens. Finally, I do think you’re right about one thing – a sprint is likely on the Stage 21 – you must be psychic.21-06-2022 15:18
