VIDEO: Disastrous crash for Belgium on final corner of Tour de l'Avenir team time-trial

Stage 3 of the 2023 Tour de l'Avenir is a team time-trial where the first four riders across the line set the time. For the Belgian team, all was going well until the final corner.

Rounding the very last turn in the home straight, four riders were together for the Belgians. The first rider though, slipped out and crashed into the barriers very hard. Whilst his three teammates crossed the line, the stricken rider stood up groggily and stumbled towards the line with the bike in his hand.
