A massive disaster was almost seen in the finale of Nokere Koerse 2024 as a man casually decided to cross the road on his own bike just seconds before the peloton came through.
Whether the man had a death wish or was completely unaware of the rampant bike race almost in touching distance isn't fully known but this could have been so much worse. Thankfully, disaster was avoided by mere seconds.
