Vauquelin, Rodríguez and Hofstetter lead the way for Arkéa Samsic at Vuelta a Espana

Arkéa Samsic are in search of good UCI points and they will be hunting them down at the Vuelta a Espana. A strong lineup from the French team, they come with Kévin Vauquelin, Cristián Rodríguez and Hugo Hofstetter to search for wins.

It is unlikely that the GC will be a goal. Rodríguez was second at La Route d'Occitanie as well as having some strong performances in the summer, but has saved his Grand Tour focus towards his home country. Meanwhile, Kévin Vauquelin, winner of the Tour des Alpes Maritimes and the Tour du Jura, has recovered from the injury that kept him from the Tour de France and with a strong performance this past week seems to be back in form to hit the high notes at the Vuelta.

Hugo Hofstetter will in the meanwhile aim for the sprint stages, the 29-year old is a rider who can usually handle the climbs so the rugged Spanish roads will be well suited to him. Kévin Ledanois, Mathis Le Berre, Élie Gesbert, Michel Ries and Lukasz Owsian complete a lineup that will surely be a constant figure in the breakaways.
