Vin has had good win at Giro alas against 2nd string riders . Answer this when if ever did he have to respond to any attack from other riders? It was really a training camp for Vin with a few efforts in the mountains.

Pogi has won 3 out 4 monuments, and will won the last one as well. Pogi has always the edge on Jonas in sprints and TT. THe only way for Jonas to win is to wear him down so that he has a bad day.

Cycling can't install a salary cap because, unlike other sports, they don't have a common revenue stream (TV) which can be split evenly amongst all the teams. The TV rights are owned by the owners of the races, not the teams. Vaughters is delusional, he hasn't thought it all the way through. Which is a bit mind blowing because this is his job.

Jonas is amazing but we’ve yet to see if he can seriously challenge the 2026 version of Tadej

Conspiracy theory...Italian moves into pink in her home race as the worlds best female sprinter gets banished for 20g weight error ! She wouldn't have beaten Wiebes in any form this week!

I've said he has looked really good all year, maybe more so from a mental perspective since that bad crash a few years ago. The Giro is different from the Tour, in some ways the climbing is harder than the Tour but the Tour is faster the heat is stifling. I still believe that Tadej is on a higher level, by a bit. We'll see how he looks in the Tour de Suisse in a few weeks. Jonas needs to get on his TT bike before the Tour and do some work there.
