Stage 3 of the #TUR2023 looks pretty crazy? 👀 The Badabag climb is 18.9 KMs at 10.8%. 🔥🤯 That might actually be the hardest climb of 2023?! And a portion of it is pavé/cobbled. ⤵️
Traditional race on the borders of Europe, the Presidential Cycling Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey is back with already 58th edition. The race traditionally features a hard mountain top finish and this year won't be any different in this regard.
Even grand tour organisers wouldn't be ashamed to include a climb such as Badabag pass in their itinerary. Why? Because it's nearly 19 kilometers of the purest climbing work. With intimidating parcours that average on 10.8% and ramps that go above 15%, this will be a pure bliss to watch for every cycling fan, but not so enjoyable experience for the riders.
And if you thought that was all, then the ancient Badabag pass keeps one more surprise and that is pavement in the final kilometers. Not a hard one, but it certainly won't make things easier!
Tune in on Tuesday, October 10, to not miss this monumental sight. The stage 3 start is scheduled at 12:15 (CET) with expected finish around 17:00 (CET).
