Tadej Pogačar won Il Lombardia the last two years and is thus going for a flawless hat-trick. However, the competition is cutthroat this edition. Primož Roglič, Remco Evenepoel, Richard Carpaz, Enric Mas, Aleksandr Vlasov and the Yates brothers are all on the start list.
