Deutschland Tour will once again kick off with a short prologue which will distribute starting hands for each team and rider. Stages 2 and 3 will provide opportunities for those who want to create moves in the GC, while stages 4 and 5 should go down in a bunch sprint.
Quick-Step's biggest assets for the final GC will be either
Mauro Schmid or
Ilan Van Wilder, who can pull off very good time against the clock, while gaining time on their opponents uphill.
Ethan Vernon will focus on sprint finishes, while the opening prologue might be an interesting goal for the 22-year old Briton.
