Soren Waerenskjold beats Tobias Foss by 1 second to win Norwegian time-trial national championships

The Norwegian time-trial championships have begun early this Thursday morning and have started off the national championships action for the day. It was another thrilling race with a margin of only 1 second defining the winner and this was Soren Waerenskjold of Uno-X Mobility.

The former under-23 World Champion in the discipline is on absolute flying form. Waerenskjold, 24 years of age, defended the title he obtained last year but only by 1 second over former Elite World Champion Tobias Foss. The INEOS Grenadiers rider put in a brutal effort but it was not enough to take the win.

After winning the time-trial and overall classification Waerenskjold brings in another quality victory for the team and is ready for the Tour de France. Third place was his teammate Andreas Leknessund, who was very disappointed to miss out on the selection to the Grand Boucle.
