Sebastián Unzué, one of the directors of the Movistar Team, spoke to the Spanish media after the first stage of the Tour de France after the misfortune of the fall and the subsequent abandonment of Enric Mas.
"I have not been able to see the fall. We have already seen him on the ground," he commented. "A hard day for us, we have to turn the page, look forward, we have a team with guarantees to fight for other things on this Tour."
Unzué regretted what had happened, especially since they expected a lot from Enric on a Tour that left the Basque Country for the first few days and in which they had many hopes. Of course, his message for both the team and Enric is positive: you have to look forward.
"Knowing him, if he hasn't gotten on the bike quickly, it's because he couldn't. When I didn't get on the bike quickly, you already expect it to hit. It's a hard day, hard stick. We had high hopes at home It's time to look forward and with Enric to look to the future", he concluded by adding.
