The latter resisted the furthest, being caught with 10 kilometers to go. Some attacks came after with Tim Declercq stiring it up mainly but soon after a bunch sprint became evident. It wasn't without issues though as favourite Caleb Ewan suffered a puncture inside the final 3 kilometers.
BORA led out the sprint for Danny van Poppel but soon he was swarmed, and in what was the exact same finale of stage 3,
Dylan Groenewegen was once again the first to make it to the line, beating Daniel McLay and
Davide Ballerini. As for the overall, it remained the same, with the
Lotto Soudal rider Maxim Van Gils confirming the overall win in front of Santiago Buitrago and Rui Costa.
