Sanne Cant back at home recovering from injuries sustained in Paris-Roubaix Femmes crash

Sanne Cant, who was one of the victims of the Paris-Roubaix Femmes crash and was hospitalized with two head injuries, has since been discharged and has now returned home.

Cant was among the favorites and riding with the lead group when Elisa Longo Borghini's fall on a cobblestone section caused several riders, including Cant, to crash. Due to the accident, Cant sustained two head injuries and was transported to Lille Hospital, where she received stitches for one wound on her forehead and another below her eye.

Herentals hospital received Sanne Cant in the evening of the accident and proceeded to stitch up the wounds on her forehead and under her eye. Once her treatment had been completed, she was discharged from the hospital and is currently dedicated to recovering from the injuries as swiftly as possible.

Sanne Cant's return to the peloton is currently uncertain as she awaits another medical check-up later this week to gain an understanding of her condition and the feasibility of her return.
