The
Giro d'Italia presentation was set to take place on the 12th of November, a few weeks after the Tour de France but with the full route announced and confirmed unlike the Grand Boucle. However there have been issues with the organization of the Grande Partenza in Albania, but this will not affect the teams' decisions.
The route is almost fully known, starting in Albania, moving to Italy after three stages and move through it's western half including a 'mini Strade Bianche' on stage 9 before moving to the Alps... Among others, there will be an ascent to the Colle delle Finestre and finale in Sestrière in the final days of the race. The Italian side of the race is, likely, all confirmed; but the organizers have delayed the presentation by two months - reportedly because of financial and road issues from the country that should host the start.
