Boucles de l'Aulne will take place on the 14th of May as the French peloton continue a heavy period of racing. It's another hilly race where the puncheurs, classics riders and sprinters will have an opportunity.
The race sees 181 kilometers on the route, all of which are hilly. There are two circuits, the first of which having the riders climb a 2.2Km at 5.2% and 3.1Km at 6.2% climb on several occasions. Those are looped with another small hilltop, which will then be raced 8 times before the finale in Châteaulin. This hilltop will be 800 meters long at 4%, hard enough to be attacked but gentle enough that plenty riders will have the legs to make moves.
