Primoz Roglic loses a tooth ahead of Vuelta start: "This started well, huh"

There's a lot of buzz around the three-time winner Primoz Roglic already before the start of Vuelta a Espana. The Slovenian rider pretended to have got lost ahead of the team presentation in Lisbon on Friday, only to have the stage for himself. But later that evening, he had a more serious appointment with a local dentist. The reason? Roglic apparently had lost a tooth.

What exactly happened is unclear. On social media, Roglic shares a photo from the dentist – with one tooth less – and a photo from afterwards – with a mouth full of teeth again. The Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe rider can laugh about it: "This started well, huh," he laughs.
