PREVIEW | Women's Tour Down Under 2023 stage 2 - Daria Pikulik faces challenge in hilly stage

After the opening sprint stage won by Daria Pikulik, the Polish sprinter will have to defend her lead of the women's Tour Down Under in the seecond stage which will feature some climbing.

Stage 2 from Birdwood to Uraidla, will be the shortest stage, an explosive one, with the ascent of Mount Lofty (6.1Km; 3.2%) providing the opportunity for some attacks summiting with 11.5 kilometers to go. From there there will be a short descent and flat run-up to the finish, suitable for the fast riders.
