Daria Pikulik surprises to take women's Tour Down Under opener

New year new riders, and World Tour debutant Daria Pikulik has taken a brilliant start to her year by beating top competition to pull on her first victory of the season in the opening stage of the Tour Down Under.
The opening day of racing was suited to the sprinters and they did not disappoint. Pikulik was the fastest in the finale, narrowly beating Clara Coponi and Georgia Baker for a brutally battled win. She puts on the first leader's jersey of the race too ahead of stage two.

- Yes, but it seems fans of such toys, like SUVs think that status is appreciated by far more people than is the case. I think very few are actually impressed by anyone feeling the need to show status this way, it reveals insecurity more than anything else. What is it with guys with leftover cash that they feel a watch will do for them?
