Preview. In the second day of the weekend of racing in France, the peloton takes on the
Tour du Jura. It's another tough classic which has a hard summit finish and will be an interesting test for the climbs on the 15th of April.
The race is short, only with 166 kilometers in length, with 70 flat kilometers early on. The last two thirds of the race is very tough however reaching almost 3000 meters of climbing. 5.7Km at 5.2%, 3.5Km at 9.2%, 2.9Km at 7.4% and 3.3Km at 6.7% anticipate the final challenge. Unlike Doubs this is a tougher day, the final ascent is 11 kilometers long, the final 4.1 of which average 8.2% all the way into the summit of Mont Poupet.
