PREVIEW | Ronde van Drenthe 2024 - Wiebes, Balsamo and Kool face off on VAM-berg sprint

The Ronde van Drenthe is one of the most important classics in the female peloton and will take place on the 10th of March, right before the epicenter of the cobbled classics season. We preview the race.
The race is 137 kilometers long, relatively long for a one-day race, and it will see five laps of a circuit in Drenthe. Most of the circuit is pan-flat, except for the VAM-berg. This climb coincides with the finish line. It is an explosive double of hilltops (one cobbled, 200 meters at 9%) and the other 400 meters at 5%.
