PREVIEW | Brabantse Pijl 2023

Preview. On the 12th of April the riders take on the first major Ardennes classic. Not part of the trio of World Tour races, but the Brabantse Pijl has taken on it's own path in recent years, and become one of the most exciting races of the spring featuring cobbled and paved steep climbs.

The 205-kilometer race fits the puncheurs and cobbled classics specialists. It's a perfect mix being right inbetween the cobbled and Ardennes classics and provides an opportunity for many riders. The race revolves around it's final circuit in Overijse, where in 22 kilometers the riders find five ascents, two of them cobbled, and one corresponding to the finish. It's a highly explosive route which is very hard to control and very often leads to exciting and dramatic racing.

Estimated start and finish times for Brabantse Pijl: 12:40 - 17:40CET
