American Team Novo Nordisk have revealed one of their main riders Charles Planet was involved in an accident which resulted in a string of injuries to the French rider, who is one of the team's most important riders.
The French rider was reportedly riding not far from his home near Remiremont in the Vosges, when he a car driver and Planet were involved in an accident. The team has reported Planet sustained fractures in his left tibia and fibula, aswell as a broken scapula which will take an unknown recovery period, in what is an important part of the season.
Planet is known as one of the most aggressive riders in the peloton, representing Team Novo Nordisk who support riders with diabetes in the peloton, and had recently finished the Tour of Oman where he was close to the Top30. Novo Nordisk will soon be at
