The tenth stage of the Tour de France saw an hilly day where the day's main event was made of a protest that blocked the whole race temporarily. A difficult situation to manage, but one that didn't affect the race excessively. Magnus Cort Nielsen took the win on the day, capitalizing on a compact finale where the surviving breakaway riders sprinted to the win.
It was a calmer day in the peloton, with no big descent, short distances and little urban riding, which saw more safe riding. Hence, only one rider featured in the team's medical report:
(155) Hugo Hofstetter - Epistaxis.
As for the fines attributed in the day, they were given to:
(137) Simone Velasco - Throwing bidons outside of waste areas. 500CHF fine, penalty of 25 UCI points (1st offence)
(133) Joe Dombrowski - Urinating in public. 300CHF fine.
(138) Andrey Zeits - Urinating in public. 300CHF fine.
