Human Powered Health have this Monday announced the transfer of Matt Gibson, who was brought in a contract for the remaining of the 2022 season in a mid-season change of teams.
“It’s an amazing opportunity to be able to show what I can do at this level. The chances you get to ride big races on a continental team are limited, so at a ProTour team I can race a lot more races like the Tour of Britain so there are a lot more opportunities to prove myself in those sorts of scenarios," Gibson said in a press release.

Gibson, 25, has developed within the British continental ranks where he's shown his talent in the sprints by taking several pro wins along the years. In 2019 he took the leap to Burgos-BH, having won a stage at the Tour of Qinghai Lake aswell as having the opportunity to race at World Tour level, however didn't manage to evolve from there.
He's since been riding in Britain's criterium scene, aswell as racing for the WiV SunGod team. This year he's won a stage at the Olympia Tour, aswell as several other results at the race and the Tour of Antalya.
