Winner of two stages at the 'covid' 2020 Tour de France, Kragh Andersen is yet to repeat those feats, but that doesn't mean he hasn't had good results since then. Last year, he won Eschborn-Frankfurt, while also finishing fifth at Milano-Sanremo - a race where the Dane always seems to have a good day. In 2024, Kragh Andersen is still awaiting that breakthrough result, but that's not surprising as the pecking order at Alpecin-Deceuninck simply didn't provide the 29-year-old with too many chances to go for his own result.
According to
HLN and confirmed by
Gazzetta dello Sport, Kragh Andersen will strengthen the classics core of
Lidl-trek in next years. The American team had a really strong showing during this spring and we can expect them to be on the offensive again next spring, with aim to bring home the so much desired monument.
Centered around Jasper Stuyven and Mads Pedersen, the depth of Lidl-Trek's classics team is seemingly bottomless. We have seen Jonathan Milan slowly growing accustomed to the big races, while Toms Skujins can look back at a breakthrough spring. Then there are the young talents like Thibau Nys, Mathias Vacek and from next year Albert Philipsen, who are knocking on the doors... We're excited to see what's in store for Lidl-Trek in 2025.
