Mathieu van der Poel, Demi Vollering, Puck Pieterse and Jumbo-Visma all winners at Dutch cycling awards

The Dutch cycling awards have awarded a few riders yesterday. It was a golden year for Dutch cycling, the likes of Mathieu van der Poel and Demi Vollering have given the nation many reasons to be proud of.

Mathieu van der Poel was awarded with the male rider of the year, whilst Demi Vollering was the female rider of the year. Among those, countless high-quality triumphs in both fields. Puck Pieterse, one of cyclocross' new stars and XCO World Cup winner was voted as the promise of the year, whilst Jumbo-Visma was voted team of the year after winning all Grand Tours and being the most successful team in the men's peloton.
