Lotte Kopecky blames her legs for poor performance - ""I found my bad legs again today, I think. It just didn't work out today"

Tour de France Femmes is not what Lotte Kopecky would have expected. Tema SD Worx rider is still empty-handed after five stages. Kopecky finished in eleventh place in today's final sprint.

Kopecky made a comeback from the crash in today’s stage, she was even positioned well by her teammates, but the rider was too late to attack as Wiebes took everyone by surprise. "The door suddenly closed. The peloton passes straight by, and then you have to brake, which means you lose all your speed," Kopecky told Sporza.

She blames her bad legs for being the reason for her poor performance. "I found my bad legs again today, I think. It just didn't work out today. I don't have an explanation for it myself. I felt it from the start but thought it was just something from yesterday. I just couldn't get through,” concluded Kopecky. She holds 19th position in GC, 4 minutes and 36 seconds behind overall leader Marianne Vos.
